    Brief update

I took Raven to my vet's office a bit ago where she will spend the day. He has called in a specialist/surgeon to come in and evaluate and assess what he feels would be the best way to proceed. Raven will be sedated for the exam so that Dr. Koblik can get a thorough good look at everything without her squirming. I am not sure what time it will be but I am supposed to call around 3 p.m. and check up on the situation, and of course they have my number too.

Someone on another site made a page for her where candles can be lit for her. If you'd like to take a moment and light one it is here: Candles for Raven

Thank you again for all your prayers. My stomach is just in knots. The "waiting game" is the hardest.

That's the truth. We're all waiting, too, Jess. You aren't alone.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

My stomach is in knots too Jess. I can only imagine what you're going through. Raven is in the very best hands. I am only thinking positive thoughts. Me and the girls lit a candle for Raven.

Candle lit from me and Max. Praying for you Raven and Jess.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
