If you can talk to your teacher, ask about alternatives. There are some computer programs that allow you to "dissect" without touching anything. I love animals, and always have, but I did all the dissecting for everyone. I knew the creatures had been long dead, had long since gone to "froggie heaven" so I knew I wasn't hurting them.
