Thanks everyone for your great support, it definately helps alot. Whatever happens it will be for Queen's best. Thanks for the advice IRescue. I dont' even know if they sell filters that size around my small town lol, but I can go look. My tank is a 55 gallon and right now it has a 110 gallon filter. But its just not enough for a fish her size it seems.

I'll keep watching the water and see if it clears up any too. Once again thanks so much everyone!

    Hey Kalei --

Sorry to hear about your tank and Queen ... i've had problems in the past with cloudy water as well -- a couple things that might be worth checking are the different levels in your tank. Aquarium Pharmicuticals makes fairly comprehensive test kits to test the ammonia, nitrates and nitrites, pH etc. just to see where the levels are at.

It may also a bacterial bloom in your tank - if it is, they often clear up on their own (eventually ). My one tank was super cloudy for about 3 weeks and eventually cleared up. I'll see if i can dig up the information on the cloudy water for you -- also, when you drain some of the water out when cleaning, is it brown or is it green? If its green, it could be an algae bloom as well.

If its a waste issue like IRescue452 mentioned, you could try adding another filter to see if that helps?
