A day at the Park

Well, today we are getting a Nor'easter, so we went to Freedom Park yesterday. It seems like everyone else had the same idea. There were lots of old and new friends to play with. Here are a few pictures showing how much fun everyone had.
I don't know if you guys remember Danny, but unfortunately Danny passed away a few months ago. Yesterday was our first chance to meet his little brother, Baxter. He is probably about 4 months old (not real sure since he seems to get younger everytime he goes to the vet-the rescue told his Mom he was about 4 or 5 months old when she adopted him almost 2 months ago).

This field is huge, and it was so cute this little guy (Mickey)
wasn't afraid of anything/anyone and would run across whole field to meet someone new. Someone started humming The William Tell Overature as he was running across the field.

I only took two pictures of Ginger. But I really like this one, because you see that big old smile on her face? She is going for a walk with her favorite person in the whole world (well after mommy). She was thrilled.

And I just thought this was cute. The three buddies walking the trail.

I'm with Kay, Joyce!! It's so rare that we see that gorgeous Ginger, I have to keep dreaming of seeing her(I'm really one to talk aren't I?? ) Seriously, I love that girl-she's so pretty. Great pictures. It looks like her and all her little buddies had a blast!!

Thanks for the pics. I've been dying to see that Ginger for some time now. We have a dog that comes into my work, quite frequently, her name is Sophie but she looks a lot like GInger. So much that I think about your girl everytime I see her.
It looks like she & all the rest of the pups had a ball. We did the same thing yesterday... went to the park because a storm is rolling in today. And it was the same story, seems like everyone in this area had the same idea as well.

Baxter is adorable! It's wonderful to see lovely Miss Ginger again too. Looks like the pups all had a blast. I just love watching dogs play together and having a great time. Looks like it was just a lovely day.

Thanks everyone. It really was fun. Baxter is a real spit-fire, I'm not sure I would have the energy to keep up with him.
Since I only had two pictures of Ginger, I thought I would add some pictures of her play date a couple of weeks ago. Still only two more pictures of Ginger, but there are still some really cute pups.

I am so in love with this little guy, Babe. Who could ever resist this look?

This was Ginger when we got home. She still doesn't look tired, does she? Yes, I know she needs to go to the groomers for some straightening up. Unfortunately our next two weekends are going to be busy.
