Yup, Sugar is a rescued bichon frise. She lived in the home of a breeder who owns a puppy mill, as a breeding machine for 9 years. She got better treatment and care because hse was the family pet. Rescue got her out, spayed, and in a foster home. We adopted her, she arrived last Dec 9th. She is doing great! That pic you are remembering, that was when Billy arrived, probably. (Although I get shots of Dad with ALL the pets now and then.) That would have been 3 weeks ago, see here.
