My Richard said "NO" to another dog for a long time (we had 3). When he asked me what I wanted for our 20th anniversary, I being the sneak I am said; "I'd like a Yorkie puppy!" He kept trying to say no, then we went and looked. While I was holding the puppy, he looked at my face and asked the lady (somewhat resignedly) "When will she be ready to leave?" Bless his heart, he knows I'm a softy for furbabies.

Got Molly on 7/3/02 and she has been a handful. But I just love her. She's been such a great addition to the family. I'm not sure the other dogs think so. Their reaction has been mixed at best!

When we travel, which doesn't happen often, my son (another puppy lover) comes to our house and babysits. Sometimes he brings his dog - sometimes he leaves her at home with his girlfriend. My babies love him - I think he's worse at spoiling them than we are.
