My Richard said "NO"to another dog for a long time (we had 3). When he asked me what I wanted for our 20th anniversary, I being the sneak I am said; "I'd like a Yorkie puppy!" He kept trying to say no, then we went and looked. While I was holding the puppy, he looked at my face and asked the lady (somewhat resignedly)
"When will she be ready to leave?" Bless his heart, he knows I'm a softy for furbabies.
Got Molly on 7/3/02 and she has been a handful. But I just love her. She's been such a great addition to the family. I'm not sure the other dogs think so. Their reaction has been mixed at best!![]()
When we travel, which doesn't happen often, my son (another puppy lover) comes to our house and babysits. Sometimes he brings his dog - sometimes he leaves her at home with his girlfriend. My babies love him - I think he's worse at spoiling them than we are.![]()
