I am so sorry. I can tell how much you loved your beautiful Pocahontas and how much joy she brought. Ducks are so special, funny, cute, curious and just plain joyful. It certainly sounds as if she had the best life possible, she was happy and that is all anyone be it man or fur child can ever hope for. Good by Pocahontas, have fun swimming past the rainbow bridge sweetheart you had a wonderful loving mommy.

Hey Argranade, Reachoutrescue, Marigold2 and Karen,

Thankyou all for your kind words about Pocahontas. That means a lot and believe it or not sometimes helps to know that others care I'm glad that you guys could hear how much she meant to my family and I.

I was with my mom today coming home from town and we saw about 10 Muscovy Ducks across the road from the pond--so I got out and lead them back into the pasture towards the pond. I don't want another duck to get hit.

I still think about her daily--but now I know she is in a better place--even though we feel like we want them here with 'US' all the time--I know she's at the RB waiting--and she'll be safe for all times now...
