    Ibuprofen (a real bummer)

    keflex

    raw onions

cigarette smoke and the aromas of the plug-ins and expensive candles. Cheap candles are okay.

possibly sensitive to nuts, certain foods cause breathing problems and I think these are made with peanut oil, or it's the chocolate. Oddly enough I can eat cheap chocolate and have a Butterfinger bar.

Dust in general. I hate carpets

Spunky has asthma and allergies, carpets cause him problems, too.

I'm probably allergic to cat dander too, but since since I use most of the above (except ibuprofen), I can't see me losing the cats over an allergy.

Stress will aggravate my allergies before most of the above.

Oh dear, I'll never complain about the 24 hour " repeats" from all kinds of peppers and cucumbers and watermelon..(suddenly..due to my aging I guess)
I just try to stay away...The only horrendous reaction is an instant migraine from the sulfates in red wine and champagne. Poor Me. Pity Party. Luckily I love white wine. Woe is me.

John's granddaughter (3yo) has so many food allergies that we all have epi-pens in tow and have to constantly wash our hands in case we've eaten something "Not Mara Safe". So my heart goes out to all of you. I mean, I have other physical problems, but now consider myself lucky. Wish I had a magic wand to make you all well! Junk Food party!

I'm mildly allergic to bees (found this out when I got stung in the eye and it swelled shut). Certain cleaners give me painful and itchy rashes (I usually wear long sleeves when going to a restaurant). Certain painkillers and blueberries make me sick. Pollen and dust do it to me, too. My throat becomes mildly irritated with pudding.

My husband is allergic to bleach and food colouring.

I'm allergic to birch pollen and ragweed pollen. Also, tree fruits such as apples, plums, peaches, pears, nectarines and cherries, but only if they are raw. If they're cooked I can eat them until my face falls off!

I'm allergic to Iburophen, I found out the hard way! I had an accident and the nurses in A&E gave it to me, I didn't know I was allergic at the time and ended up with a huge rash all over my body and I was sickly-ill for days and the rash took a week to go down!

I'm also allergic to Pecan nuts, They make my throat swell up and they make me have such a tight feeling in my chest it hurts to breathe, If I do accidently have something with pecan nuts I normal sip water loads, I'm very interested in that pen? is it an adrenaline shot? I didnt know I could have one at home just incase..

Yes, an epi-pen is an adrenalin shot - which it sounds like you should have on hand because of your pecan allergy. Talk to your doctor, as you need a prescrition to get one. I always carry one with me, just in case. If you use it, then you have to get to an ER, but it will generally give you enough time to actually get to the ER before your throat swells shut and you suffocate.

Thanks, I'll see when I can make an appointment with my doctor. Sounds like a very good idea!
