Hmm, I thought since Christy rarely posted anymore that no one would post her birthday - that wasn't very nice of me as her mother.

Happy Birthday, Christy! I hope it is a good one for you with Jasmine and Dominic. I was there with her yesterday and took one or two pictures of her but didn't get them posted to Imagestation.

This is a tough birthday for Christy. As many of you know her husband Brian is in the Army. He has been a recruiter in Cincinnati for the last 1 and 1/2 years. Now he has been called back to a unit in Fort Drum, New York. She has been left with the 2 kids and 3 dogs to get their house sold so she could join him in New York. Last week he found out he is going to be in Iraq (for his 2nd tour) by July 4th. Right now he is at training in Louisana to prepare for what they will encouter in Iraq (for some of the guys, it will be their first trip). He just left on Friday - he is not sure whether he will be able to call while he is there or not.

So plans have changed for her. She will still be selling the house (pray that with spring coming more people will be looking and she will sell it fast) but moving up to Findlay and hopefully finding a place that will let her rent with 3 dogs and 2 kids for the next year or so. So keep my kid in prayers, she and Brian and the kids will need them! Diana

asking that God keeps hin SAFE throughout his tour of duty.

I'd also suggest he resign/retire from the Army at the earliest opportunity -
he's DONE his part of "Serving his Country" - enough is enough!
