Actually I did not know that you could buy taurine Medusa.
Is it expensive, and where can I buy some when I start cooking for the Found Cats.

If you google -feline raw diet - you will get a lot of "hits," and each one has guidelines on how to feed raw. Taurine is needed for healthy cat eyes!

On the menu on the left, you can click on "supplies" and she tells you where to obtain the ingedients - even in Canada! She suggests that you can get all the taurine you need naturally in the hearts (I think chicken hearts, but I just scanned it quickly to make sure your answer was in there! Read it to be sure.)

I have found where I can pick up some taurine at the pharmacy.
I am going to start slowly with some ground turkey and chicken and them work my way up.The Found Cats already bits of broiled Steak and Pork Chops and love them both.
And bits of Edam Soft Butter Cheese for Scrappy2.
I dont have a grinder, so I will have to chop nad dice by hand.
The Found Cats are already excited.

Hey, check out this offer on craigslist for switching to a high quality food.

You would need to check how their prices compare to buying the product locally to determine if this will be a savings for you. But having it delivered to your door may be nice.

gary, i got my first grinder at goodwill. if you find that your furries love the better food, you might check there. i think i paid under $8 it. kindest regards, joyce
