Aww, you're really missing Papa aren't you Fritz? Poor little guy. I know he misses you too. Maybe when he gets transferred, you can go to the hospital and see him since it's close by and you would be great therapy for him. It sounds like Papa is doing a little better.

Fritz last night with Mom,nose tucked in and in her bed this morning.Went to bed with her first,then out under the dining room table and he then come to me and after a few minutes,he went to Mom for the rest of the night.Mom and Marlene are going over shortly and Larry and will head over at around noon.A little more about yesterday's events.The man in charge of sending people home said everything that can be done medically is done and he should go to a nursing home.No way Marlene says,he goes home first before that and we will think about it over the weekend.The guy also says there is a 8 week wait for help,our caseworker says she could get it done faster.Larry tried phoning yesterday for a hospital bed for here,it was Friday and no one there.Marlene talked to the Doctor who originally diagnosed dad and he says dad is to go to Lakeridge Health Bowmanville and be put in the long term care ward.You still have to gown up overe there,they wash the wals and change curtains between beds.Dad has had three tests for this bug,he doesn't have it.A nurse could be in there just a couple of minutes and then out and would have to wear another to come back in.the doctor who did the prostate procedure never come by and had an ultrasound done,nobody who works on the floor dad is on knew what for.he was pretty good yesterday,ate good,drank some water,hasn't had any sign of this bug.Dad will probably ask about fritz and wil get upset.Fritz has really been missing him lately.He lays just inside the doorway to the kitchen and watches the back door hoping mom wil have Dad with her.

Barry your latest note brought tears to my eyes. Just reading how much your dad is missing Fritz and knowing that Fritz is missing him just as much is heartbreaking. I hope that you will get some answers and receive some help with his ongoing care. This is all so sad to us reading it, and I know how sad it is for you and your mom. Thank you for keeping us informed with updates and pictures.

I just wish I had some words of comfort for you Barry. Some magic potion to make this all better. Hang in there my friend. I'll keep hoping and praying for all of you there. Kisses to Fritz.

Fritz in between the pillows and in front,pretty sad dad is not here,that is where he is now ,laying on the bed.It may not be Monday now,he started choking while eating today and they have to do a throat analysis on Monday.so we will see what happens.He was sleeping when Mom and Marlene went in and mom had to wake him up when Larry and I came.Dad didn't look as alert,they are giving something to sleep and he looks groggy, it looked like he was sleeping even though his eyes were open.He did know i was there,I gave him a hug,hard to see him like this without breaking up,i had a good cry when i got home.he did eat good,had potatoes carrots and chicken.Wasn't quite comfy in bed,needed a pillow under his feet,pillow behind his head adjusted and moved over to one side so he can hold onto the handrail.He knew enough to point to where he wanted the pillow and a rolled up blanket.He is now in a private room down the hall,gets to eat a little earlier.Mom and Marlene not staying as late,Marlene and Larry going out to eat and Mom and I are having chinese food,fritz will like that,he had his after i came home,so maybe he will get a treat.going again tomorrow,see how he is then.He is rather thin.i knew his legs were ,looks a little thin in the face.Dad was more alert later,had some Ensure,didn't each much supper as he had almost all of the Ensure.Jason and his wife Barb come in to see Dad,Dad wanted to hug Barb,he did.Had porridge is morning,drank some water,can't sit up now.Wants to ride the scooter,may never have a chance,no strength,asked Jason about the tree.Wants to come home Monday,we will see what happens.he is not happy that his brother Elwood and wife Maxine,my Aunt and Uncle haven't come to see him yet.

Poor Fritz, missing Papa You look adorable little man.

Barry, I am thankful that you have the camera and can keep taking pictures to share with us. It's good to have something to take your mind off things for a short time. I know it doesn't fix things but it might help. Fritz is such a great comfort to everybody.

I'll keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. My heart breaks for your Dad, you, and the family.

Fritz sleeping on the coffee table while Mom is on the phone,sitting in the front window before i went to bed.he eventually came and slept half the night with me and went to mom in the middle of the night.Had his cereal and toast this morning and now in the window.Fritz curled up in mom's bed this morning and curled up in the chair in the living room face squished up against the arm of the arm of the chair.Mom and Marlene going over after church,Larry and i will probably go while they are at church,probably around 11 and Mom and Marlene will be there between 12 and 12:30.
