Thanks for posting. That's a great article. Sad in a way when you think of the extremes people will go to just to have something "different". The poor pups always end up paying the price.

Hearing that I know have a Labdal (Snoopy), an aireshnauz (Taggert), a retriever span (Dazzi) and a Jack Rat (Pippi). None cost more than $100 (from a rescue) and 2 were free (although my husband would argue that with the vet bills we have. Actually Taggert was $85 from the resuce and Snoopy $40 so we got some very valuable designer breeds very inexpensively.
