Kay, LOL, if I lived alone, I would have camped out in front of the shelter Saturday night. That quote you posted is exactly what my heart is saying, but my mind is thinking otherwise. What with college and such, I suppose it was for the better that I didn't adopt this dobie.

Oh well, I believe that things always happen for a reason so we'll see. Unless there's a sign that tells me otherwise, I won't be looking, just admiring from afar

I know how you feel. Mz Logan was instantly the one for me. If I hadn't taken her that second I don't know what would have happened since the shelter was packed. I know you have to abide by your family's wishes, but really, NEVER say NEVER. As you say, things happen for a reason......

She sounds like an awesome dog, and I know how you feel. But, I lost a few dogs before getting Fozzie, and that was DEFINITELY for the best! Just keep looking.

I have the same dilemma... it seems like a big step between 2 dogs and 3. Are you waiting a while before getting a show Peke?

Yep, Erika. Going from one to two was easy. But *tripling* is definitely a harder case to win. Besides, our city draws the limit at three dogs so I want to be sure that this dog is the one.

Oh yeah, I won't even be thinking about getting my show Peke until college or sometime thereafter. I still have a lot to learn about pedigrees and the genetics of it all. Jeez, I can't wait to get out on my own!
