Thread: Hand me over a bottle.......

Sorry but I have never heard of a baby tricking a parent. If they don't want it let them abort or put the child up for adoption. None of us asked to be born but once here we deserve to be wanted and loved. Not all people become parents when they have a child some stay too selfish, childess and stupid. Some should never have kids. Children are too precious to not want. If you don't or can't take care of a child there are people who will.

Marigold: I can't believe you've never heard about that. It's very old and well used. And preventing pregnancy is much more accepted than abortion. Abortion shouldn't be used as a method of birth control, though I do believe we should all have that right. And there are plenty of people who do not want children and shouldn't be punished for that right.

Husky_Mom: Sorry this has gotten so nasty. Perhaps we should make a new thread?

I agree lets not get mad at each other. I don't want that to happen. Lets talk about something much nicer like spring.

You can have my share of the water ... ALL of it. Keep it far away from me. We have MORE than enough kids around here like it is. LOL

Well, early congratulations to your family, Isabel! Will this be your second? or third? Sorry, I don't recall, but I do remember how adorable your little boy looked with all those puppies last year! Just remember not to gulp the water....you may end up with twins!

    Eeesh, chill out people!

I'm sure Isabel shared this information out of joy and excitement. She stated that her husband knows she is no longer using her form of birth control. If he doesn't want a child at the moment then he needs to make the effort for birth control now.

I don't believe it's possible for Isabel to just pop out a child by herself, so it's not like she's going to do it without her husband knowing.

Good luck with your hubby, Isabel, and hopefully he will give into your wishes sooner or later. You can have alllllllll of my PT water because I don't want any children.

Well in real life it seldom works that way kay. Women do have to take the
lead on preventing children if they are not wanted by both parents.

Anywho, I did not mean to start an controversy here or throw cold water
on a light hearted thread. Please forgive me Isabel, if it seems that way.

I will now bow out of this thread.

Have great fun "trying" Isabel! It may take a few months anyway before you hit the jackpot so then your husband will get his wish anyhow

OH good lord.... it was a JOKE. man you are sensitive. I meant trick the parents because we weren't planning on getting pregnant but we did and we couldn't be happier. It was a joke don't get your knickers ina twist... and I whole heartedly agree that abortion should NEVER be used as a form of birth control. BUT it should be available because that would only open a whole new can of worms.

And like I said before.... I don't recall her EVER saying she was going to trick her husband into pregnancy. She even said he is WELL aware that she stopped her current form of birth control. There is nothing TRICKY about making the man responsible for birth control for a while. My husband was "in charge" of the birth control since JUNE lol. BUT we made a miscalculation with the calendar and now we have a wonderful surprise..... BUT he has been ready for kids for a LOOOOOOOONG time... he was just waiting on me. I can't say I thought I was ready at the time but I sure feel I am ready now.

If he ain't ready then he has to learn to control his urges lol It takes TWO people to do this.

Isabel, good luck and eventually your husband will come around..... another mouth to feed can be a scary thought for anyone.... even those who think they are totally ready.

R.I.P my dear Sweet Teddy. You will be missed forever. We love you.

    Hope all goes well

My chances of having a child is low to nill. But I was still asked to be a serogate (sp) down the road. He said whether I can or cannot, I'm still first choice & only choice. So if I cannot, then they will go without aswell... Talk about putting it all on me, sheesh But I wont be your typical serogate, I will still have all my motherly rights & will be mom... complicated I know, but worth it.

HM, just tell him that if he waits until he is over 40 (I don't know how old he is just guessing lol) then he will be SIXTY by the time the child is even old enough to move out... and that is assuming the child moves out right when it turns 18 LOL I know I wouldn't want that.

Ahhhhh......I dunno....I think it's ok. I'm 58, and my daughter is 14, and we have the best time ever. But then again, this is my second time around, my other two daughters are grown up and long gone on with their own lives.
It's a matter of choice really. Some of my mates at the time thought I was nuts for wanting to start all over again.....but I'd never even think of trading their lifestyles for mine...I reckon I'm miles ahead....I have the best relationship going with my little poppett.
But, it's all up to the individual as to what makes them happy in life.
