I am so sorry. You have my most sincere sympathy. As someone who has watched two family members suffer and die from cancer I am familiar with the terrible pain that your dad endured. He sounds like he was a sweet man. I am glad you got to be with him at the end. He is pain free now. ((((hugs))))

My sincere condolences on the loss of your Dad - as others have said, at least he is now free from his suffering and left this world surrounded by love.

Two years ago today I buried my Dad so I know all too well how you are feeling right now but it does get better - my Dad came to me in a few dreams shortly after he died and in each one he looked healthier and happier than I'd seen him in years. I am sure it will be the same with your Dad.
