Well I just got back from Urgent Care and I've had a relapse. It's back and worse than before. So here I go all over again. This is getting SO depressing. I've been going to work through all this, but took tomorrow off. I'm going to do nothing but lay on the couch and in bed the whole 3 days. If I'm not better in a couple weeks I will seek a pulmonary specialist. Thanks for all your input here!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Lisa, I'm so sorry to hear this. I think that you may need to take a leave of absence from work so that you can allow your body to heal properly. If you keep going back to work too soon your body will never heal completely and you'll continue to have relapses.

I've only had pneumonia once and I was very young but I was home from school for a whole month and I had to stay very still and I spent most of my time in bed. I sure hope that this time you'll rest enough and continue to get better and also feel better. I sure wish that I lived closer to you so that I could help you and Kevin out. Please take care. Hi Lisa,

I would seriously consider going on a cleanse. Go to your local health food store and see if they have any lung cleanses. Try finding one with Scutellaria Biacalensis in it especially -- VERY good for draining the lungs and helps to treat infection. Honeysuckle also drains the lungs. A good lung cleansing kit will have both of these as well as man other herbs that increase blood flow in the cappilaries(sp), nourish and repair lung tissue, dispell mucous and regulate mucous production, aid in killing bacteria, boost the immune system, etc. Of course during a cleanse it is REALLY recommended that you drink alot of water and eat alot of fruits and veggies and avoid anything artificial. Eating alot of parsley should help you as well.

I cleanse often and I can tell you that it works. I have never done a lung cleanse but I think one day I might. I think it would be a very good idea in your case. Good lck!
    I've been BOO'd!

Hmmm... I wonder if i should try that with all of my allergies and asthma. I've been wondering if I'm just not getting enough oxygen and if that is why my muscles don't heal as fast as they should any more. (I'd say don't heal, but that would imply that i was dead... which obviously I'm not.) I'm also thinking of applying to have a sleep study done to see if i have apnea.

Do you know if with any of those ingredients i'd have to watch out for caffeine content? I have a really bad reaction to it... even ginseng based things.

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.

Lisa - pneumonia is SERIOUS. People still die from it, young healthy people. I am surprised your doc has allowed you to keep working.

When I had pneumonia in the 1980's, I was out of work 5 weeks, and then returned part time for 4 before getting back on my feet. At the start, the doc yelled when he learned that I was walking form the bedroom to the living room twice a day for a "change of scenery." He said if I couldn't stay put in bed he's send me to the hospital.

When we over stress a muscle, say in the arm, we jsut use the other arm for a few days. You hold books in the other arm, use the other hand to open doors. But when we stress the lungs, which are expanding and contracting like muscles, we can't NOT use them. So it takes much longer for them to recover. Using the lungs - walking, stairs, moving about - just puts more stress on them.

I say seek another opnion BECAUSE this doc let you keep working! Just my opnion.
