Melinda blew me away last night. I was crying right along with Paula and Melinda. I couldn't believe Simon asking her why she was crying! It was such a fabulous and emotionally charged performance, I think it's a normal human reaction to cry when something is so powerful it brings you to tears - it's a good thing!

Lakisha, Stephanie and Jordin were also all amazing.

Sanjaya reminded me of Michael Jackson and it wasn't a good impression. He's so young and so cute, but I think he's going to go tonight.

And poor Hayley - she knew she blew it.

Are they voting off one or two tonight?

I think it's just 1 person from now until the finals.

Love love LOVE Melinda. Her song last night gave me gooseflesh. She is absolutely my favorite and I hope she wins it. Hubby and I are hooked on American Idol.

I am so mad right now! Sanjaya didn't get kicked off! I'm so mad I could scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why it's he off? HE STINKS!!!!!!!

I watched it. I can believe that Sanjaya is still there. I don't agree with it but he seems to have a gigantic fan base somewhere. Who are these people? I can't imagine

How did everyone think Diana Ross sounded? I think she was pretty pitchy and didn't sound great at all.

I noticed this too - I think her voice has lost the power and she sounded like her voice is getting old. But she is still so beautiful and I love her smile.

I agree completely, Debbie. She really looked beautiful but the quality she once had wasn't there. I've always said that they hold those Idol contestants to such extremely high standards on pitch, voice quality, strength, projection, etc. It sometimes seems that they're being too picky when some of the professionals get up there and sound off on all counts
I can't help but wonder what the kids must be thinking when their coach/mentor sounds a little pitchy throughout the song.

No wonder the winners are so successful. They are as close to perfect as it gets.

I would have been happy if any of the bottom 3 got the boot. I don't care for any of them. And add Haley to the list. She's a cutie, but that's about it.

I never cared for Brandon. I couldn't even remember his name before last night.

Sanjaya really needs to go, next.
