    Tears and prayers from Sasha and I for dear, sweet Pouncer. Have enlisted my fur angels too. Pulling out all the stops for you Pouncer buddy. Hang on kitlet. Meds will make you feel better sweetie.

    Great big HUGS and a few Sasha kisses (she's pretty stingy with them) for you Kim.

    Oh gosh, I was didn't realize Pouncer was that ill. That poor boy! Many thoughts and prayers here for Pouncer. Pouncer, hon, you are way too young to cross the bridge... please try really hard to get better, your meowmie needs you there!

    OMG, that's horrible, just horrible!!! Not our sweet little Pouncer!!! How can a cat that young have renal failure?

    I'm off to work now, but I know that Pouncer and Kim will be on my mind all day.

    I am so sorry for Pouncer.
    But I don't think it is already the end: first they have to do something against the blockage and the sub-qs are for the renal failure. These are basically different things. With renal failure, cats can survive well for years- look at Fluffy, Filou, Puddy and many others.
    They need regular sub-qs- but most cat owners can learn to administer them at home. Even the wiggleworm Filou who goes to see the vet once a week got used to them.
