Godspeed Phred and Gini you will be missed more than you ever know..
Staci, I've said a prayer for your grandma and hope her health improves.
Prayers going out to everyone who needs them.
My Grandmother is going in for hip replacement surgery at the beginning of April. she is 85 years old. She is in wonderful health and is still sharp as a whip. But this surgery will be hard on her but I am sure she will pull through just fine.... but a few extra prayers couldn't hurt.
Thanks everyone
R.I.P my dear Sweet Teddy. You will be missed forever. We love you.

Prayers for my friend Irene please.
She has had her application for AISH (in Alberta - Assisted Income for the Severly Handicapped) under appeal since last July. The AISH people have lost her papers twice, and the hospital where she had her heart attack, and many 911 angina calls, and stents put in - NONE of these for the year they had records were sent to her GP OR the cardiologist.
She is barely 42...and also has type 2 diabetes. Right now, her medical welfare is $634 per month...and to rent a room is minimum $300 in the city, and there aren't many.
She can work...but without a place to live where she can hook up her computer (I bought one for her when she started the job), she can't do anything right now.
Please pray that things finally work out for her this week, and that she finds a wonderful place to live. She needs a break...and a patient shouldn't have to be the one running around asking records to be sent.
(anyone envy our "free" health care? Don't.)
so...prayers please.
Thanks.

Even though I don't post often, I'm still here and keeping you in my prayers.

My grandma hasn't been doing very well, her heart rate has lowered and blood pressure is unstable. She was transferred to a larger hospital this evening for a consult with a cardiologist. He thinks that he can get her BP and heart rate stabilized but is concerned about the pressure on her chest - if it isn't better by tomorrow he is going to do a cath on her.
Please continue to keep her in your prayers.
