I like to keep things relatively simple with registered names. I, too, pick out a call name and work the registered name around that. I was lucky enough to be able to put my "kennel" name on the front of my dogs' names. As a little girl, I lived on the banks of the Deep Fork river. Well, river is a bit of a big term for it. It is the headwaters of the Deep Fork river that runs through the 'burbs of my city, but it's really just a polluted city creek. But, I decided as a girl my kennel of dogs would be Deepfork's. And, I don't really have a true "kennel" either, as I don't breed. So:
My dog Laika was named Laika of Deepfork.
My sheltie Aslan was named Deepfork's Aslan.
The one I like the best is my sheltie Jericho. He can only hear loud noises. At the Batttle of Jericho in the Bible, the walls of Jericho fell after the attacking army issued a loud noise. He is Deepfork's Battle of Jericho.

I've been defrosted.
