Well, so much for hoping it would "slip by" quietly.
After so many of these Birfdays ... one considers just stopping by the Church
an Thankin God for "another one" ... and avoiding all the Hoopin & Hollerin.

But ... Friends will be Friends ... who seem to enjoy rubbing in the fact that
the Ole Man is in fact ANOTHER Year OLDER

Oh well ... no sense fighting it ... Birfdays have their Good Moments ...

* finding your Name on a PT Thread ... that grows all day ... from my PT Buddies

* the many E-cards *beeping* into the in box ... some GOOD Humor in those!

* the Snail-Mail Greetings ... some of Humor, some a lil *sappy* - ALL Appreciated!

* and the Mail-Gurl *bangin* on the front door - Big Box in hand ...
* Bearing a Special Gift - from a distant town - hand-hewn with great care.
. . (Stay Tuned ~ as soon as I get some sunlight on it --- we'll have an unveiling!)

Have you alerted the local fire company to be on standby about the candles

Well, isn't that somethin' - my two favorite men born a day (but a few years apart). Carl's birthday was Sunday - He celebrated with our dogs, and his granddogs - that is half of his grandogs - as in Cincy's moms. I hope your dogs were better behaved than the ones here - they all wanted that butter pecan cake and ice cream!
