A Past Dog of the Day Remeberance

My dog, best friend, and little brother, was dog of the day (http://dogoftheday.com/archive/1999/June/03.html) in June of 99. I created a digital remembrance of him, as I felt it was appropriate due to all he had given me throughout his wonderful lifetime. I must warn you, from previous responses I have received from viewers, you may want to go ahead and place a box of Kleenex beside you.

If you would, please take a moment and watch the tribute for Moses. Feel free to post comments and feelings.

OMG. That was so beautiful. Thank you for sharing that with everyone. And yes, you do need tissues.

Were those poems you wrote (especially the one at the end)?

RIP sweet Moses. It's obvious you were very loved are very much missed.

    Take care.

Moses was given a beautiful tribute. He was once a little ragamuffin
with no place to call his own. His special people came along to find him,
and treated like the sweet soul he was. I am so glad you had him to love.
    Rest In Peace how Moses.

Thank you for sharing these memories of him.

Very beautiful, a lovely tribute. I listened to that song a hundred times when my dog died in a traffic accident. Just hearing it reduces me to tears. You can be sure Moses is up at the RB looking down here with pride!

I'm having difficulty viewing this due to being on dial up, but what I was able to see was so moving. Next time I'm at the library I going to access this so I can see it in the manner in which it was intended.

I'm so glad that little Moses was rescued that day so many years ago and that he found such wonderful people who appreciated him his whole life through. He was a beautiful little soul who still shines bright from afar. A Dog of the Day forever.

I can't bring myself to look at your tribute yet. After hearing of all these recent additions to RB, I don't think I could take it right now. I will look at it later.
RIP, dear Moses. Run and play at RB. Hugs.

I'm at the library, with others sitting in cubicles right next to me. Tears are streaming down my face, and I'm trying to keep from sobbing out loud. It's hard. I didn't bring ear phones so I couldn't hear the music. Probably best that I didn't.

Oh my goodness! I am glad that this got bumped because otherwise I might have missed it. I too have tears in my eyes. Your tribute was beautiful. I don't think I have ever seen anything so lovely. Moses got off to a very bad start in life but knew your love and lived a happy life. When it was time to say goodbye you unselfishly spared him additional suffering. We grieve with you for Moses and hope that the heartache that you feel now will lessen a little each day. Most of us here have walked down the path you have walked and we are all here to listen should you need to talk. (((hugs)))

Oh Rachel, you should hear the music with the verses. The words & voice
together are so beautiful. My Buddy is still the last one I say goodnight to
    every evening.
