Wombat, excellent joke! Lifetime membership it is!!

An Irish coffee for the good Dr. (in jammies) and a hot wine for Ceph.

Now Ceph - did you tell your joke for your membership fee?

Oh, Oh, Slick does have lipstick markings all over her face doesn't she? Let me see if I can gently clean it off before she wakes up.

I am taking breakfast orders - who wants what?

    *A Cat's Diary*

Day 183 of my captivity....My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre
little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape and the mild satisfaction I get from ruining the occasional piece of furniture. Tomrrow I may eat another houseplant.

Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded...must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair...must try this on their bed.

Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in an attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of and to try to strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed and commented about what a good little kitty I was.

Hmmm, not working according to plan.

There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary confinement throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise and smell the food. More importantly, I overheard that my confinement was because of my power of "allergies."

Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage.

I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously an idiot. The bird, on the other hand, has got to be an informant and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room, his safety is assured. But I can wait; it is only a matter of time...

Can I get some really expensive scotch? Its going to be one of those days (including tomorrow) -- too much work to finish off before goin 'way for 3 days next week. Sadly enough, no one to do my job for me while i'm gone

Too early for chocolate? Is there anywhere on the planet that THAT occurs? I don't care what time zone you're in, it's NEVER too early for chocolate! A Mocha Latte sounds perfect right now, with a side of French toast.

Something I've never tasted before? Hmmm, may I have an easier question? It's too early for one as difficult as that!

Amen, Redhedd!! It's never too early for chocolate.

A hot chocolate with a splash (or two...or three) of peppermint schnappes would be nice. I'm excited about starting a new career on Monday, so the next round is on me!

It's difficult being bartender............so many things to do.

Sara, thanks for bringing in the chocolate covered graham crackers - we just need to keep them away from Mario. So far he has licked the chocolate off of half of them.

Ceph - great story - and welcome to Thursdays.

Now back to breakfast - eggs? How do you like them?
French toast coming right up - fresh orange juice too..........

Karen, I know, will volunteer some of that great maple syrup. The REAL stuff.

Hmmm, now where is that r e a l l y expensive scotch? I think we hid it. I will keep looking. A mocha latte - gotcha - peppermint schnappes in hot chocolate - right here.

Phew! I have been running from one end of the bar to the other - I had no idea that Richard stocked this bar so well..................

MARIO - GET YOUR FINGERS OFF OF THAT FRENCH TOAST RIGHT NOW!!

Oh oh! Tell all. Have I missed a thread somewhere?

You're doing a grand job there Gini. I've never had a chocolate martini before. I think I'll go for that!

Never ever too early for chocolate! Wish I had some now. Since I'm here so early, I'll get some coffee started. Guess I'll be drinking it by myself while everyone sleeps.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

True, true, David, not everyone is sleeping. I'm awake. I'll take some of that coffee. Sounds good.

How is everyone this morning? Hopefully, everyone is doing great today, please say you are doing good and mean it.

    Willie

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

It is absolutely beautiful here today - a little nippy but crisp clear air.

I'll make more coffee and then I'd like to sit by the fire for a bit before I head off to work.

No one can tend the bar like Richard can - I just made a big mess!

Moff, bring your chili over here - you went to the "other" bar?

Ceph, that was hilarious! I'm sure my two think just about the same thing. With that joke you are a full member of Thursdays! Barkeep, I need an Irish coffee to keep me going!
