In Canada, Malinois, Tervurens, Laekenois and Groenendaels are all one breed.. Belgian Shepherds (Wolfsoul's Solo and my girl are both the same breed but different varieties). In America, they're all their own seperate breed. They're very intelligent herding dogs with A LOT of drive. A Malinois will give it their all for whatever it is they're being asked to do.. whether it's agility, herding, obedience, schutzhund, etc.. which is why a lot of them are being used for police work. Their drive is both a blessing and a curse though. Keeva will no doubt be a fantastic agility dog, but she has yet to stay still for more than a couple seconds since coming home.
