I'm so happy that Dasher has done well throughout his treatment. He looks wonderful. Congratulations for getting him through the process. That duck is like one we've had (a number of times). Lots of fun.

I am so glad he had a good time! I am EVER HAPPIER that you took on a dog with heartworm. Most people wont as this is an expensive disease to treat- with time and commitment absolutely necessary!!! BIG HIGH FIVE!!!

Val, Dasher looks great. He is so handsome in his closeup in the sun
picture. He just looks like the picture of health now.I really liked the pic
of him on the bench with his one leg hanging down. Maggie lays like
that with one leg extending backwards.

I have had to hide some of the really noisy toys too. The pups would squeek
them nonstop for hours if I didn't.

Dasher, you look mavelous dahling!! Take it easy on the ducky, once he's gone you'll have to ask mommie nicely for another one! I am so glad you're having fun and filling your mommies heart with love.

Here's a couple of more pics and a longer video of him playing with Mr. Mallard. If you think he shakes it a lot outside, you should see him inside when he doesn't hae a leash in the way. It's so funny to watch. And he loves that mini basketball, too. He gets so spastic when he's playing with it. I must say, I enjoy seeing him enjoy being a dog. Soon it will be pool weather. Can't wait!

The other night I was almost late to work because he had fallen asleep beside me with his head under my armpit and one front leg draped over my stomach. He was snoring away. I couldn't bear to wake him.

Borziomom: I was lucky I didn't have to pay for the treatment. The vet does it for free for anyone that adopts a dog from the SPCA.

Here he is with his fresh "kill"
    And the mini basket ball

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
