Checking in from this neck of the woods too. You were on my mind all day today. I just have a feeling that things went well.

The CT scan took only about 5 min and I was told that the results would get to my GP in a week to 10 days. However, my GP will get right on that and I won't be surprised if I find out sometime next week.

Rachel..I started an email to you a couple of days ago but have not finished it. So very sorry I've not been in touch. I'm still at work but leaving shortly....there's just so much on my plate right now.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Just thought I would update this. I wasn't going to but.....

I had another CT scan on June 4th and I just got the results today. My right and left lungs are covered with tiny nodules that with time will grow. There are 2 or 3 of them that are growing now (compared to what they were last August) so my surgeon wants another scan in September and if they have grown in size again, then it's more treatment. He suggested perhaps chemo this time or he can go in through my ribs with a scope and snip them off. We'll see when the time comes.

Those who know me best know that I call a spade a spade. I asked him how long I had to live. He said about 10 years....... We'll see about that!!!

Edit: I've been thinking about this today and making up my list of things I really want to do. I figure if I put them in writing then they will come true.

Take a hot air balloon ride
    Go snorkling in Florida
Go to the UK to meet Pet Talkers
Maybe slide into Germany, Belgium and Denmark
Go on an African Safari (thanks Africam!!!)
    Visit Australia and New Zealand
    Go a Findlay meeting
Go in a whale interaction program at a seaworld or aquarium
Sleepover with the belugas (my local aquarium has this program)
Visit Northern BC and see the northern lights
Load up on lobster on the East coast of US and Canada
Visit other parts of the US....go down south for some real shrimp gumbo...or perhaps visit Kansas????

    **sigh**

I'm really sorry to hear that. But, glad you told us. Don't give up, ok? You need our support and we'll be here for you. Listen to your doctor. You're going to be here at PT a long time. Don't even think otherwise.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

I'm glad you told us. Slick, there is never a reason to leave friends out. Prayers come when friends are informed!!! Got it????

Love ya, girl. Just take it one day at a time. Something tells me that you will be harrassing one or all of us 20 years from now! Never stop talking, please. We need to know.

You'll be in our prayers, and hey, doctors are wrong about longevity all the time.
