The tattoo in Beaker's ear is just in case he's ever lost. It has a set of letters saying what vet it got done at and then numbers so the clinic can tell what dog it is. All of the dogs but Kizmit have tattoos (he came chipped from the breeder), I wish Beakers wasn't in his ears but oh well nothing I can do about that.Originally Posted by elizabethann

Kizmit is a 13 week old Pharaoh hound, and yes I have 5 dogs now. I have Smudge, Winter, Tama, Beaker (sitting beside Kiz) and Kizmit.What breed of dog is Kizmit? I like the very alert ears! Do you have 5 dogs, Crikit?

I saw the Pharaoh hound on the Westminster dog show. The commentator said that he was one of the oldest known breeds and shown in the architecture of ancient Egypt. Kizmit, it is very nice to make your (cyber) acquaintaince today! And the other Goonies, too. I've never known a Pharaoh hound before. I am sure you'll be just as cute - or even more so - the next time your person puts photos of you!
