Need a canine version of "forgotten felines" - help anyone?

The humane society I work for is doing a weekly newsletter that will feature animals that have been with us for too long. The cat featured will be a "forgotten feline". Can anyone come up with something similar for dogs? You can use anything that will describe a dog - hound, pooch, canine, dog, etc. We are all stumped on what to call it!

Oooh, this one is nice. My coworker really likes it as well.

Forget-me-not Fido is cute too, but it may be too long.

    Thanks so much everyone!
