    Mystery solved?

Good evening, my friends. I'm sorry I haven't checked in sooner today.

I do think I have what is some pretty good news, though. Last night, right before we went to bed, Miss Lilly went out to do her business and obviously had some issues because she looked like she hadn't finished doing her business when she came in. She passed about a 2 ft long cord of some kind. We have no idea where it came from, but it was obviously the culprit causing the infection. She was like a new dog this morning. Happy, hungry and ready to play. An amazing transformation. We took her for another injection of antibiotics and vitamins today and she literally pullled on the leash. We hope that as she eases back into eating, things will be fine. She just had two rather large new potatoes for her dinner and some cooked carrots and would have eaten more if I had let her. She was under my feet in the kitchen while I was preparing them. It is astonishing that after two very worrisome weeks, my girl is better.

Lilly will continue with antibiotic treatments until that white count is back in check.

Hope you all have a good night and stay warm. We are freezing!

    A "2 ft long CORD" ??

    OMG!

"Cord" as in rope, clothes line, electrical cord ... what KIND of cord was it?

Did you take it to Doc Robinson for "show & tell"?

Hey Lilly --- try to stick to what's IN your BOWL ... not what you can scavenge up.

Another Chapter in the Book you otta write.

    PS: THANKS, God!

Phred, it was like a string out of a sweatshirt or sweatpants. And yes, I took it in for them to examine it. I believe it had to have come off of one of Mack's toys, though.

Miss Lilly started throwing up again, late yesterday afternoon. We all hope it is just her adjusting to eating again.

That foreign stuff that won't dissolve can really do a number on the
intestines. I hope her tummy settles down soon.

    Lilly Wednesday

Lilly has gone back to spend the afternoon at Dr. Robinson's office. She is throwing up again, not eating, and now has diarrhea, too. He is running blood work and perhaps giving her iv fluids, too. I'll know more later when I go back over to pick her up.

Please keep my Golden girl in your prayers, one more time.
