I found it fascinating to see "behind the scenes" (the benching area). Those dogs are in the same kennels I see at cat shows! Wow. I didn't expect that. Those dogs are all so gorgeous.
.

STILL AVAILABLE BY E-MAIL
I would love to go there sometime! I would be in doggie heaven.
Loved all the pics and I'm so glad you captured so many different breeds. Thanks for posting the akita pics!![]()
Thank you for your photographic review!!I have never been to Westminster and I am sure I never will so this was a real treat. I did go to a local Philadelphia show a couple of years ago and got to walk around in the back in between competition and of course stopped at the standard poodles as they waited. It was really neat to be back there.
We took lots of pictures and had a terrific time. What a way to spend a day - - surrounded by dogs of all breeds, sizes, colors, etc.

I have dial-up so I will have to wait until Tuesday when I go into work to see all of your pictures. But I just wanted to say that I am so glad that you got a chance to go that is very exciting. I keep saying "next year" I am going to go, and then "next year" rolls around and I am watching it on TV. Good for you,
, I am sure it was a great trip that you will always remember. I can't wait to see your pictures on Tuesday.
Oh and next year I am going.![]()
Great pictures! Looks like you had a fantastic time. My favourites were of the Danes (especially the Harl), the red merle Aussie, and of course, the Toller.![]()

Dance RN CGN FM - 7 1/2yr old Toller

The Rottweilers are absolutely gorgeous though!!
looks very fun! Actually, the darker pics are much clearer, and after a quick photoshop visit they'll probably clear up great.
Niño & Eliza
It's cool that you could get so close to them. Thanks for sharing! You're lucky you got to go!
I love Fenway, JoJo, Olivia and Nonnie!
WOW!! I feel like I was watching the show again except for this time, I saw a whole lot more. It's so cool that you got to have a great experience like that. How many times will the average person get to see the Westminster Dog Show, and especially so up close and personal?
You did a great job photographing all those breeds too. It must have been really keeping you busy. Thanks for doing that for all of us. All the pictures didn't load for me but I saw some great ones. I love the pic of the little long haired Chihuahua!!![]()
