    Thanks guys. I am passing on your love to our dear friend and once I know which hospital/ward she is on I will post the address for those who would like to send her a card (or pm me for her home address..or take it from the Christmas card list....)

    She emailed me last night to say that they have diagnosed a loose hernia (ouch) which will have to be removed. Typically, there was no bed available for her yesterday so they sent her back home . She will be going back into hospital today via the emergency room so she will then have to be kept in.

    She cannot have a new disc inserted but the hernia will be removed next week.
