Well, your prayers must have worked. I got up and went into the kitchen around 1 am and Lilly was lying there, looking at me with more interest than I've seen in more than a week. I asked her if she wanted something to eat (he told me I could continue to try to get her to eat anything, in small amounts) and I gave her peanut butter on a ritz cracker and she ate it! And then she ate two plain ritz crackers. This morning, I had to check for the dirty knife to make sure I didn't dream that. I didn't! So this morning, I offered her a treat, a medium size milk bone, which I broke into pieces, and she ate the whole thing. Then she ate another. Helen offered her some cheese and she ate a little bit of that. And when I fed Honey and Mack, I offered her a small amount of Bil Jac fresh food and she ate that. I didn't test her any further because I haven't yet talked with Dr. Robinson about the blood work, but I do know that they found blood in her urine last night as I was leaving and he gave her a big injection to start clearing that up. I called Patsy and she told me to keep her here and she would have him call me as soon as he reviews her blood work. What a turnaround, after 11 days! She is weary, but she ate!

Perhaps it was a bladder infection all along. No telling. All I know is that we have been given a little reprieve and hopefully she has turned the corner. I know that all of those prayers from Scott, Helen and me and all of you had to do the trick.

I will let you know more after I hear from Dr. Robinson, but I certainly do feel a bit of relief this morning.

Thank you all so much for caring.

Love,
Logan and Lilly
