When Is A Lady Not Quite A Lady?

When she just had a drink of water and still has that one drop on her chin?

That's what your napkin is for!

A drop at her chin but not one spot on her ruffles. (As opposite to me who always has a white shirt when they serve spaghetti in the canteen )

Edwina, you look as pretty as ever, drop or not. Where's Eddie? He could come and help lick it off. Perhaps that's what you're waiting for.

How unthoughtful of your mom to not have a napkin (preferably cloth and monogrammed) right by your water bowl. Doesn't she know that a lady such as yourself should never be seen sporting a droplet of water on her furry mouth.

Oh yes, surely the beautiful Lady E has a monogrammed napkin, freshly laundered for every meal? I would expect nothing less. It is so important to maintain standards at all times. One never knows when the paparazzi will appear.

One would have thought she would have a servant to perform such duties

When is a lady not quite a lady?

Not to worry, Lady Edwina. On you that drop of water looks good and because it's you this will probably start a new trend. No matter what the situation you are always the ultimate lady.....
