What do you call your bubbly beverage?

I call it Coke. Every brand or type or whatever, it's all Coke. If you go to a restaurant here and say "I would like a Coke" the waiter usually asks "What kind?" instead of actually getting a Coke brand. That's how I grew up and it's how all my family says it!

Well, when I think of bubbly beverage I associate it with beer , but I know the intent of the poll and everyone around her calls is soda.
