Assuming that my health is OK, I'll be there. I might even go both days.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

How far is Abbotsford from Langley? I would love to go, it sounds like a lot of fun. What exactly do they have going on? I have never heard pet expo.
Thanks so much Ashley for the siggy!

Abbotsford isn't far from Langley at all, though I'm not sure exactly how far --- slick will be able to tell you I'm sure.

It is awesome, there are big booths with many different things --rescues, breed clubs, pet foods, etc. There are demos like agility, drug detection, flying disc...And there are a TON of free samples. Last time I went I had a HUGE bag just full of free stuff. There are lots of different kinds of animals -- in 2005 when I went last there was a huge reptile booth, with a ton of snakes, and even a huge tortoise. And you can buy things too. It's alot of fun.

I wondered the same thing but I doubt it'd be a problem -- how are they really going to prove we aren't from Vancouver? I think I may just bring Visa. Visa is good and stable but Solo is still just a pup and going through a fear stage, I'm worried the hussle and bussle might frighten him and make him dislike Tradex.

Why do they only want Vancouver pets? Is it because this is only for Vancouver residents.
Thanks so much Ashley for the siggy!

Nope, people travel from all over to go there -- many of the booths are owned by businesses that are not in Vancouver.

I'll be there! I'll bring Kai and Mal pup too. I'll try to drag along the boyfriend so I can bring Kaedyn too.

Is anyone else from the shop coming Jordan? Wanna stay over??

Jynnelle says she is coming, Kelly and Erin might come. I wanna stay over, and I know if Jynnelle doesn't bring Sean then she wants to too, but if she does she wants to stay in a hotel. I know Kelly and Erin will want to stay in a hotel. I will bring my doggies depending on who is driving me -- I will see if I can get away with bringing both of them, I just don't think I'll take Solo to the expo. He's coming out of his fear stage nicely, and should be out of it completely by then, but we'll see.

I had a dream lastnight that I brought my 6 dogs (the others were all black mutts, mostly husky mixes). The expo was outdoors in the snow -- there was a huge dog sledding race.

Oh, sounds lovely. My hubby and I might take our daughter this year, we're looking around for bird shows as well, as she's a parakeet person and she loves showing off her two lovely 'keets.

Lorena, welcome to Pet Talk. Would love to see some pics of the 'keets'. Hoping to see you there.

I'm in New Westminster and have an SUV so maybe ??? I can pick people up along the way.

My CT scan is set for Feb 23rd and if the cancer is back then I'm afraid it's a no go for me. I remain hopeful.
