I neglected to tell about the very shy Miss Bubbles. When someone knocks on the door Mango and Peaches (the Abys) run to the door but Bubs runs to hide in a closet. Like Gini said, she does her Marlene Dietrich thing ("I want to be alone").

Her fur is as soft as a bunny and she has kind of a baby powder scent. Her white bib and paws are absolutely snow white. She's really a sweet girl.

When I saw this Randy, I thought how fabulous the kitties look (I have a photo of them floating on a canal here on my desk..the photo is on my desk, not the canal.... ) and I thought how healthy YOU look!

Randy, I noticed how well you look too, but at first, thought it might be best to say nothing. But thanks to Sara, I realized that no, you need to hear it from us. You do look great. I realize that it has been a long way "from there" to "here" and it is just terrific seeing you look so healthy.

BTW: I have seen Bubbles
As opposite to certain Scottish kitties of which I cannot tell whether they are two or three - I never saw more than two together.........

Regarding Aby weight: Filou has been 3.2 kg and is now close to 3- so Mango would wrestle in a different weight class and it explains why Filou is often considered as a girl.

Thanks! It's been a long trip since I fell down the Rabbit Hole a few years ago and I know most of you only saw me just out of the hospital looking my worst. I'm almost at the end of treatment now being estimated at the end of May - relying just on how quickly my body gets the job done. Curing an incurable cancer with experimental treatment...

I was caring for the furry monsters for three weeks while Bev was out of the country. Mango and I have been buddies since he was 2 months old and, fortunately, Abys are easy to move when they are with someone they know. They took over my home a few minutes after they got there and made it their own. It took Bubbles a week to start socializing.

Peaches and I had a disagreement. She thought it OK to trample and sample whatever I was preparing to eat. My immune system isn't fully recovered yet so I needed her off the counter. After the 50th (60th, 70th???) time I set her on the floor she got the message. The next morning she was sitting in the sink. "See. I'm not on the counter!" Smart little girl.
