I could make Zoey complain, all right... but I wouldn't. Absolutely not! Zoey deserves better than that, as do all cats.

The game, by the way, while sometimes mistakenly thought to be "hide and seek" is actually called, "Touch Coup." It was invented on June 9, 1584, by a small group of cats that roamed about the northern planes of what would later come to be known as "The United States of America," though, of course, the original people of the time and place had their own, highly descriptive and evocative, names to describe the land.

In time, horses also moved into that country and quickly allied themselves with the people of that land. Being sharp observers of nature, these good folk observed the cats playing "touch coup" and so adopted the game themselves, which they played on horseback as kind of a bloodless warfare.

How the game ever spread back overseas to now be played by Zoey of London is a mystery to me.
