Hi Bri *waves*. let's see if I can help a little with Giz. Is she spayed yet? You have been gone since I have been back so I don't know anything about her. If not then I would definately suggest it as it could be a good part of her problem. I need more info on her though. When does she do the destructive things? Has she been to a vet to see if there is anything medically wrong with her? Does she have issues with the other animals? She could be rebelling against all the stress that has been going on in the home. Cats are very sensitive and this could be her way of saying ' I don't like all this upheavable'.


More more info I would love to be able to help. I know she is a good girl inside we just need to find the good girl inside and get the nawteeness down to a decent and fun level.

Let's see... She's One years old.. she's not spayed.. (we've been told that may help her, but as stupid as she is, I just don't know..) She destroys things whenever. Doesn't matter if we're home or not home. She's broken a million Christmas ornaments.. she rips up toiler paper.. and she's even started climbing to get to the toilet paper. No, she hasn't been to a vet, but before we brought her home, she was taken to the vet, and checked out to be perfectly healthy. She's been this way her whole life. She gets along fine with Lily, Skye, & Roxy. As well as Dipstick.. :/..

You are discribing Vixen before she was spayed. Vixen was super wild. We couldn't leave the bathroom door open because we would come home to shredded toilet paper and the cabinets would be emptied and whatever she coould chew into or drag out she would. We had to put elastic bands on the kitchen cupboards because she would get into the paper towels and destroy them and drag out the garbabge bags and dishtowels and whatever else she could. She would also get into the top cupboards and put puncture holes in boxes and eat through the bread bag...not because she was hungry cause there was always food available. She was free feed with a high quality food. Vixen would even climb the door frames. I actually have pics of that.

Once Vixen was spayed it took her about 2 months but she calmed down and became a normal kitty. And gradually she even became a major lover. She is a sweetheart now. Loves cuddles and being in your arms, loves belly rubs and wants your hand on her when she sleeps with you. Giz is not beyond help. She is a wild one but she needs to be spayed. I am sure she will become a normal loving kitty when her hormones are all normal.

*tackles* Hey! Long time no...update?! Anywho, Glad to see you'll be back on sooon and all! Hope Mrs.WildChild calms down and all. Who knows, maybe you'll find a hundred dollar bill just lying around and you can get her spayed! I'm only joking, but everything in me body is crossed! Glad to hear Roxy is getting to be inside more and is eating better food. Now with Lilly...she wants THE BEST probably. Sorry you're having so much trouble with her! Astra is the same way, VERY finicky. Well just wanted to give you (((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) and prayers are being sent!

Oh and BTW, we have another PotC fangiiiirl! Michelle aka GreyhoundGirl! She CLAIMS she's a bigger fangirl than me, but since you and I were the ORIGINALS, it's pretty hard to beat, eh? did you ever find a place that does low cost spays? Just PM me your location. I can't remember sorry and I will see what I can find for you. Maybe it is possible to get her spayed for nothing or for very little.

Maybe you could see if a rescue could help you get her spayed? Or find a vet with a payment plan? Kayla was the exact same way before she got spayed. She is SO much calmer now and is so much more cuddly.

Anyway, glad your mum found a great job and that you'll be online before too long! Good luck with Gizzie and finding a new place to live and all!
