    I just saw a monkey I think... something was in the trees. There is also now a tour bus driving around here.

    Probably. She is in danger. But this is on a reserve, so I'm sure the people there will help her if it is necessary.

    You know what I really love about this site?? Not only the wildlife but all those birdies singing in the background. I would love to know what kind of birds they are and see a picture of them.

    I saw the one giraffe come and get a drink last night (11 p.m. my time) and then join another in the trees to eat. Went to bed before I saw the baby. Will need to stay up later tonight!

    There is a herd of deer (impala?) on right now.

    Slick - if you go into the Africam forum you will see postings that identify birds just by their calls, as well as by sight. Some of the people on the forum have obviously been in South Africa and really know their stuff.
