Question about my cell phone....

My phone got wet once, I took out the sim card and everything and let it dry off and after 24 hours it worked fine...I never had the screen not light up though.

I took out the batt and let it dry, i cant get the rest of the phone apart. the batt is working right since the phone lights up but there is nothing on the screen, not my wallpaper or anything. so im not sure what happened

It may have had something short out in the led or whatever.

If it was damp, that's very bad for the electronics. It may be dead, or dying and need to be replaced.

Water + Electricity = bad

Im going to my parents town today, so hpoefully they will get me a new phone, or something. Im dying without my cell phone!!! haha

I don't understand.. Did your parents get your phone wet? Why would they need to buy you a new phone rather than getting it yourself?

well the contract is in my parents name, but i have to pay for the phone myself, which i did get a new one...VERY expensive UGH!!! oh well atleast i got a phone, since they couldnt save my other one.
