I don't know if you've been asked this before.. but are these 2 litter mates?

I got them from two different sources, so I don't think they could be littermates, but you're not the first person to say they look like they are. Mocha was a gift to a boy in my neighborhood.. so the only posibility I could see is the boy's grandmother also got Mocha from the shelter where I got Missy. The shelter got Missy & her 5 littermates, but when I got there, there were only Missy & another pup left, which looked identical to Missy. 4 other pups had been adopted earlier. The little boy's mother only let him kept Mocha for a little while before she gave him away to me - during this time, they didn't even bother to get him some puppy food, so they fed him scraps from their table ! Ever since I got them two, they are practically non-separable.

They look very different when they were puppies, so I never thought they could be littermates. Now I do think they look similar, though. Maybe I could send their DNAs to the lab or something..
