    Not sure if they've been named... but the two adorable Great Danes from The Patriot. We had to watch it for history class. It was quite violent...

    Thought of one more (may have been mentioned...I haven't read all the replies):

    Spuds McKenzie - the Budweizer dog. I "interviewed" Spuds once in a limo after a parade. Well, actually he didn't say much, but the "Spudettes" did some talking. That was back in my reporter days right out of college.
