Oh my goodness!! This is the BEST news!! You must feel so much better.
I'm wondering if you can stay in touch with the owner? If they'd be willing to do that with you. That would be nice.![]()
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.
Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Wow what a jerk!!!! (the breeder). If she wanted him back she should have taken him when the opportunity was there, rather than lie and say those horrid things! I'm glad Bailey is doing fine and really is with a loving caring owner.
Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!
I love you baby, passed away 03/04/2008
That's wonderful news! It must be a tremendous relief to you and your family to know that Baily is actually getting excellent care.
This seemingly near tragedy and it's aftermath should be a wakeup call for all of us in any situation. To avoid communication problems, spare unecessary heartache, and provide ourselves with all important current and correct information, we need to bypass third parties and go directly to the source!

What good news, I'm so happy for Bailey! I know this has been really hard on you, so I'm especially glad that your mind is put at ease now.
Thank you Wolf_Q!
Wonderful NEWS!!That breeder sounds like a real piece of work. I can't believe she lied. Im VERY glad for Bailey though
Will you be able to visit him?
YAY Bailey!
Did you tell the vet what the breeder was saying???? YOW!
I hope you get to see the little guy!

Gah some breeder...i agree with Kay, who are they?
Im glad to hear hes doing good, wonderful news.
Now that we know Bailey's going to be just fine; there are a few questions that might leave readers scratching their heads in wonder.
Once Bailey was rehomed to a friend with the consent of the breeder, the breeder was done with the situation unless the new owner was going to part with him too. How did the breeder manage to become involved with the new owner?
When Bailey became sick, why didn't the new owner contact the former owner instead of talking to the breeder who was a complete stranger?
In the beginning there was talk of the new owner having made Bailey sick by feeding him cheap food. The breeder sure jumped the gun on that one!
How did the claims of Bailey being about to be put down because the vet wouldn't do the surgery without being paid first come about? Especially since he'd already had the surgery and was recovering nicely at his own vets?
The breeder comes off as either a busybody or a drama queen. Haven't quite figured out which it is yet.![]()

I'm so happy that everything has turned out great!Sorry about the sucky breeder! Why did she want him back so bad she had to lie about it?
Owned by two little pastries!
