I had to smile when I read Giselle's post. It may have sounded a tiny bit harsh (for lack of a better word) but pretty much on the mark. I love Shibas, I think they are beautiful dogs, but after doing some research realized that they are probably not the breed for me. However, I will always sigh and wish I had one whenever I see one. I think your baby may be even more remote than most Shibas because she is not feeling well, but give her time and she will come around. I also wanted to let you know that there is a member her under the user name Bon that does a lot of work in Shiba rescue and she may be able to give you some insight into what to expect with your new puppy. You may want to send her a private message as I don't think she checks all of the boards, just the rescue section.

I would love to see a picture of Bree and Puggy. If you haven't signed up for Photobucket yet (which I suggest you do), scroll down on your new post page to additional options, and go to the manage attachments box. Click on that and browse your computer files for the picture you want, click open and up load the picture. If you have dial-up (as I do ) I suggest you compress the picture first or it will take a long time to upload. Good luck and I hope Bree is feeling better.
