Im sure someone will have a better answer, but I noticed some are a little more course than others. Posibly you can try a couple different brands and see if you can find one better. Most you could undo the top and peek at the texture before you buy. I recently had a brand (cant remeber.) that my mom picked up for me, it was really fine, and it didnt clump well either. I find my local store brand actually works pretty well.
