Fritz keeping watch on the blanket,sleeping under dining room table,snoozing under dining room chair, snoozing on the arm of the new chair with me,Fritz on my lap in the chair,cuddled up,keeping warm in the chair,airing himself off in the chair,using a towel as a pillow,Fritz with Mom in the new chair.Fritz has done something new today,he has taken a towel from the pillow of the couch,the green blanket and has taken them under the dining room table to use as pillows.Had some Salmon sandwich from me at lunch,a little Tomato soup from Dad.Larry's Dad Reg came to see dad and he greeted Reg like any other guest,he kissed him,sat on his lap and took a shoe of his.Dad not too bad today,put on another railing ,doesn't really need them with the wheelchair,can't tell him,he like something to do instead of sleeping and watching t.v.Fritz had his usual after supper play with the Ducky,is now laying next to Mom on the new recliner.Auntie Irene is in the hospital,something to do with her blood cell count being rather low,that is where she is now in Peterborough ,Ontario.My back seems a little better right now,see how it goes tomorrow,maybe an inch or two of snow tonight and early tomorrow.Warming up to 30 fahrenheit tomorrow, back down to about 15-18 on Sunday.

Those are some adorable pictures, Fritz!! We wondered why you were stockpiling things under the table. We're still laughing at you taking Larry's Dad's shoe. What a comedian you are little man!! Barry, it sounds like your Dad is feeling a little better. Sorry to hear that Auntie Irene is in the hospital. We wish her all the best. Stay warm and heal that back. Great pics!!

It's always great to see pictures of Fritz doing what only* he* can do soooo well!!!

I really like the looks of that New Chair too!!! Everyone is breaking it into the Family Sitting Room and it is placed near a window that Fritz often uses to scout out all the intruders~ He's such a good Dog!!!

I'm glad your back pain is on the mend and I hope your "Auntie Irene" will be feeling better too!!!

I don't get to check in very often, lately, Barry, but I sure did enjoy seeing Fritz tonight!

fritz sleeping with Papa this morning and in front of the fireplace last night wanting some water.I always ask him to shake a paw before getting it and he usually does.He had his porridge,toast and cereal,has been out twice,the first i was out too,shoveling snow,gues he didn't know it was me as he barked at me.He has already grabbed the towel off the couch and got a Kleenex from Dad somehow.Dad is fine,I can understand him better this morning, but there are moments when you can't .He even said i did a super job shoveling the snow..He has his leg braces on,that is helping him with support down there. Fritz's portrait is back on the mantle .

Wow! Fritz! aren't you the handsome boy after your trip to the groomers! I love all of the new pictures and hearing about his naughty little deeds. The picture of him under the table after stealing the towel reminds me so much of my Bella and she loves to take tissues just like Fritz! I am so sorry that your aunt is in the hospital but when we are sick that is where we need to be. I hope your dad will have a good day today. Just having little Fritz by his side must make his day a little brighter.

Your Dad is looking well, Barry. Maybe the pills are helping with his speech? I saw a piece on the Today show yesterday about Meridith Viera's husband's book. It was about people living with chronic illness and how they cope with it. I think it's due for release next month-maybe your Dad would enjoy reading it. One of the people he had in the film about it was a lady with ALS. It was very interesting and compelling to see how people cope with being ill all the time. Take care and give Fritz some pets and kisses from us!!
