I am trying to write through my tears, thank you for posting that, it was a beautiful poem, and touched my heart very much.

I just happened to go to a funeral today which brought back raw,sad, recent memories so reading this beautiful poem, relevant to any species, made me lose control.

Well thank you. It is such a beautiful poem. My best friends dog is getting old and weak and at 17 almost 18, well you know what I am saying. My friend is going to be so upset when her dog passes on so I will make sure i read her that poem when.... well her dog passes on. Its a horrid thought, but these terrible things happen
