Has anyone ever seen anything at night - apart from "shooting stars" that are really fireflies?![]()
I haven't. But watching the moon move across the sky (via it's reflection in the pool) was neat.

You know what I really love about this site?? Not only the wildlife but all those birdies singing in the background. I would love to know what kind of birds they are and see a picture of them.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Slick - if you go into the Africam forum you will see postings that identify birds just by their calls, as well as by sight. Some of the people on the forum have obviously been in South Africa and really know their stuff.Originally Posted by slick
Thanks Lizzie. There is a herd of something there right now but they are too far away for me to identify them.

Geezzz.... I am so adicted to this! And I am at work! I keep it minimized on my screen, and then I go back to it periodically. That herd the Slick wrote about earlier is still there! And I thought I saw something larger moving in the background.
I am hoping to see the giraffe and her baby! I LOVE giraffes!
THIS IS SOOOOOO COOL!!!!![]()

Aaaccckkk, it just cut off and says Media Inactive. I guess that's my sign. I'll try again just before I leave for work.
