I wanted to thank you all for the christmas Cards,They ment alot to me,I know i did not give that in return and i am sorry for that,It is not like i ment not too send any in return,I have been through alot the last month that has prevented me on doing anything.

Most of you know,For the ones that don't:......


Decemeber I was not feeling well,was on the couch for 3 days,in the weeks prior i lost nearly 35 pounds,i was being treated for pneumonia,I was soo sick for 2 days before i was taken to the hospital,I had no energy every time i stood up i would fall down,I was taken to emergency i thought i was having a heartattach,I was having trouble breathing,Long story short I have been diagnosed with type 1 daibetes,I had sugars at 48...I was in a coma,and near death,So i was totally misdiagnosed....

I was in the hospital all through the holidays.

Now there has been some concern with the gift swap,And im not here to start a fight,I have no intentions on recieving something and not doing anything in return,The Card Swap i missed with good reason,I was hanging on to dear life.

I'm fine now,Struggling my life has completly changed,But i am able to go on now,I was a little upset yesterday when i got the email about your concerns,All im asking is for another chance,I did not skip anything on purpose.

The decision is not up to me but i do hope i can perticipate in this gift swap,
Again Thank you all for the cards,Next year i will make it up too everyone

And, as an aside, I happen to recall a certain person making noise about other stuff involving exhanges, that, frankly, I didn't see a need to post at all, yet, I respected their rights to post it. It is one thing to talk about embracing differences. It is quite another to live it. If you don't care, GREAT! I do care.

lori, your post made me sad, you didn't had to apologize!! I'm SO glad you're feeling all better! just a little darn we're not going to see your lovely dogs. I'm sorry if you were removed off gift swap - if I were the swap director, I'd give everybody a second chance for this reason. I just hope you GOT the cards when you were IN hospital!

yikes, cataholic, she's gini, I thought you were talking to me! sweet gini, we all have different expectations in this swap. I check the list to make sure not any of cards got lost in mail. I almost lost three of my packages last christmas and it felt really suck! so, when we see the names on list, we are expecting them to come unless we heard something else happened, right? I'm sure you would be disappointed if half of the cards never came.

I'm sorry this is a bit old, I'm glad you edited your posts vela, they were hurtful to read especially calling person a name when a person is already feeling bad and trying to offer something else. I'm at least happy she got my card through this rough time, it's nice thing we could do for her. and for corinna too.

captain and kfamr, I still would like to know what card you sent so I will know if they did came! I've looked over everywhere for them and I don't usually lost things...shucks if they got lost in mail..

I also kept a list to keep track of MY OWN cards........but glad to know what happened to the ones that hadn´t arrived.......I think letting you know they hadn´t arrived would make anyone think "hey I did send it, what happened?" and not meant to be like "hey you didn´t send to me ".......just to let everyone now what happened with their cards while onthe "twilight"....LOL

Lori: I know what your reasons were.......you don´t need to apologize AT ALL, I think we are smart enough to understand and just be there when you need us.......((hugs)) and don´t worry about the gift swap I think you are welcomed to join

sorry about my inbox being full, and I did read your first PM.

I hate to state more here but it has already started here. as much as we prefer, you could have emailed me if you had more to say, it's in there. I was talking about your first post too and I felt it was fair for everybody to see my this morning post since you made a public post too as well as you did it again now. I know it was a bit old but I didn't get a chance to post the night I wanted to. and I believe I am allowed to post my opinions/thoughts/feelings anytime anywhere I want to as long as I don't say anything harsh.

so, it IS personal to me when someone's just so rude to somebody else. especially when someone did the similar thing to me. I've lived with enough with rudeness and I hurt when I see my friends hurt. like you said in PM, she is mad, and hurt and upset. JOYOUS -- it makes all sense to me when enough people made mistakes after hers, because she wants to be part of this big family she (and everyone) deserves.

frustrated. just that I read your post after I got an apology PM from bcmom for not getting her card and I wanted everyone to read me here too. I'm sorry if you didn't liked it.
