christmas card swap 2006 list sent

I will be sending mine out soon just had to get situated with just getting the job and moving. Had to catch up on some things! I have all the cards done just need to get the stamps and they will be out! Thank you all for understanding!

I know Corinna would just be thrilled that such idiocy is being brought to Pet Talk and in this thread.

We can certainly understand. It was tough getting mine out, as I spent nearly $900 on Mufasa (my new puppy) alone just last month. And then I also spent an additional $200 or so on flea medications and treatments because he came infested with fleas and gave them to my other three dogs and our house. I HOPE *knock on wood* we have it under control now.

Thankfully, I was still able to get them out, even if they were a few days late. But it's always fun to extend Christmas and I don't think it's right not to follow through with something like this.

I received Isabel's last week and it was so cool. It's crazy how wierd the mail service works. It was also neat to see the Mexican stamp.

My mom rolled her eyes and said "You're STILL receiving cards?!?"
So, when your's comes I'm sure she'll be especially jealous. Thank you for still sending them, and don't worry about them being late - as long as we get them!

It is so interesting............I was thrilled with each card that I received.

But, I didn't go back and check the list to be sure that EVERYONE sent me a card. I just assumed that if I didn't get a card that there was a good reason behind it. Things happen in life and sometimes you cannot keep a promise and are embarrassed to say so.

This has happened before with the Christmas card swap - some people just couldn't get the cards out. But it never spoiled the wonderful cards that I did receive or the season and spirit of our exchange.

The gift exchange is different - if one person is counting on receiving a gift -
then that is important and you shouldn't sign up unless you are positive that you can afford to do it and that you want to do it.

But NOTHING should spoil our beautiful card exchange that took place in Corinna's name. She wouldn't want us fighting over it - for sure!

Good grief- now I am glad I can not take part- I do not need the raised the blood pressure.. I think I will just stay a poster and NOT someone involved in any swap. ...
